Today we did a poem but did our own version of the poem and this is about looking outside our classroom window

Looking out room 3’s window

As I look out the window I can see the white, fluffy clouds
that look like cotton candy. A tree that looks like broccoli.
I can also see the shade that looks like a sail. Last
I can see classrooms with students that are creeping like
swarming bees.

DNA are molecules inside your body that contain unique genetic profiles

Looks like a spiral staircase.

DNA

In a laboratory DNA is extracted from a range of body materials including blood, saliva, skin and hair.

Scientists call it a spiral staircase.

Police use the DNA from the laboratory to link people from the crimes and bring them to justice.

Everyone has a unique dna profile.

Today we wrote about swimming term 1 2019. And this is my report about swimming this year.

                           Swimming Report
Swimming lessons took place in New Windsor School pool for 10 lessons. We started Swimming last week on the 18th February 2019. For swimming we done self rescue. The self rescue is when you swim until you find something to float on then you stay floating until you get on the other side of the pool.

One activity we did something called a huddle. A huddle is when you group up in a circle and put your knees up then look up. And the number one rule is to not let go. You put your arms over someone’s arm and hold it tight. You have life jackets so you stay warm in the huddle. We have been learning floating, kicking, rolling, and practicing friend/self rescue. And let’s not forget, having fun.

Today was the last day of swimming. Swimming is important because for your safety near water and learning how to stay safe in the water. And the important rule for life jackets is to never let go because if you do, you might sink and no one will now you are sinking.
